The company initially launched its operations in Vidarbha, serving the local farmers.Our Registered Office is in Nagpur, the zero mile of India. Gradually expanded its reach & network in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh etc.

Zonal Offices were gradually established in Indore, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Hyderabad, and 18 Regional Offices across India with a strong techno commercial field staff of 500. Our marketing network is thus strong and widely and evenly spread across India enabling us to serve farmers across the length and breadth of India promptly and efficiently.

The Directors of Ankur Seeds are forever involved in farming and are, constantly in touch with fellow farmers exchanging ideas and experiences on an ongoing basis. This kind of a connect with farmers and familiarity of their surroundings proved to be a game changer for the company and the task of marketing their product became easy.

Ankur Seeds is a part of many initiatives, activities and exhibitions related to Agriculture. Seeing believes thus the company arranges meetings, gatherings of farmers and conducts live demonstrations by showing the crops grown using their hybrid seeds. This marketing strategy proves to be very effective and compels farmers to do business with Ankur seeds; i.e. buying seeds from them.

When farmers sow the seeds and get a good crop, they share their experience ,also offer some very valuable feedback to improve the product which in turn motivates the research team to further build up the enterprise after the initial success. The availability of irrigation facilities, season cycle, soil type, diversity in agricultural infrastructure and practices in different regions, government policy towards agriculture are all being considered while developing and marketing seeds.

 

Farmer Meets & Field Visits

The company organizes regional demonstrations across the country which is attended by 100,000 farmers every year. The company has organized seven regional demonstrations in the previous year and invited over 50,000 farmers to its programs.

It helps them to stay abreast of latest innovations in farming; they come to know about modern agricultural practices, improved cultivation techniques and new scientific developments in agriculture sector. Farmers who benefit through this knowledge through these programs become Ankur Seeds' advertisers and goodwill ambassadors. The biggest crop show is held annually at the Kinhi and Kamthi locations where a grand display of about 100 hybrids which are all flowering and fruiting at the same time. Almost 2000 farmers visit the crop show everyday during the week-long program.

 

Vendor Development Programs for Seeds Dealers

The company also conducts Vendor Development Programs to offer guidance and support to its network of dealers for effectively disseminating vital information to farmers and thus successfully implement marketing strategy.
